John Stampoulidis
Growing up on the island of Syros, my connection to the Aegean began at an early age. Traveling the Cyclades on my parents’ boat, I experienced the islands from their most authentic side, beyond the tourist trails, in the homes of artisans, the workshops of craftsmen, and the kitchens of families who have preserved traditions for generations.
Over the years, I came to realize that the sea, rather than separating the islands, is what unites them. The people of the Cyclades share a deep connection, woven together by history, culture, and the rhythms of the waves.
We would love to share our home with you, let’s explore it together!
Spira was created to invite visitors into this world, not as tourists, but as welcomed guests. Our experiences take you beyond the surface, introducing you to the hidden gems of each island, the stories of the locals, and the time-honored crafts that define their way of life.
